Award-winning Projects:
- The US "Teenage Book of the Year Award" for a title in its 148-title Cultures of the World series
- The "Best Book on Entertaining" at the Salon du Livre Gourmand in Périgueux, France, for From the Ambassador’s Table
- The Straits Times Press team’s members were the originators of the 48-title Culture Shock, a bestselling international travel series that has sold English, German, Chinese and Japanese language editions
- The collection popularly called the Eurasian Quartet by Rex Shelley was published by the Straits Times Press team. It has won countless NBDCS awards and the Singapore Literature Prize
- The Destination Reve (Dream Destination) concept for the UK, US and French markets was conceived by the Straits Times Press team
- Straits Times Press was the sole publisher for all the works under the First Time Writers and Illustrators Publishing Initiative 2008 and 2009. The Initiative is a collaboration with the Media Development Authority and the National Book Development Council of Singapore.
